Do you want financial freedom?

Do you want to retire early?

Do you want to make sure that you live in retirement with dignity and independence?

Do you want to leave a financial legacy?

Whenever or however you choose to retire, at that point, your whole financial life narrows down to one question. Will you outlive your money, or will your money outlive you? In a world where 30 and even 40 year retirements are becoming common and where rising costs are real, making sure that your money outlives you means having an investment plan that provides a steady and steadily increasing stream of income–while still surviving through inevitable down markets.

My mission as a financial advisor is to help you make and stick to the right plan–meaning, the right plan for you.

I’m associated with a CPA, Curtis Erickson, and the firm Erickson Wealth and Tax Management. We advocate passive investing, broad diversification and rebalancing. My clients can tell you that our advice remains consistent regardless of the noise created by Wall Street (aka, The World’s Most Sophisticated Misinformation Machine.) We are fee-only fiduciaries, which means we do not sell products and are required to act in the best interests of our clients.

And that means the first step is to get to know you. We need to figure out your goals, your values, and your fears.

Erickson Wealth and Tax Management says hello!

Investing does not need to be stressful, arcane or confusing. Once you show us where you’re going and where you want to end up, let us handle the hassle of investing so that you can get on with living your life.

A few frequently asked questions:

Do you have a website?

Yes we do: http://www.curtcpa.com/

How should I contact you?

It works best if the initial contact is by email:

lauren@curtcpa.com

However, for those of you who prefer a voice on the phone, please feel free to call 206-284-9900. If you really want to, you can even find me on social media. My name is unique; I appear to be the world’s only Lauren Vignec.

Do you work with out of state clients?

Yes, we have several long-distance clients, especially in California.

Do you have a minimum account size?

No we do not, and in fact I especially enjoy working with people at the start of their investing careers. (That’s when you can affect the most positive change.)

How do I start working with you?

The first meeting is always free. It can be done in person, at our offices, or if you are out of state it can be done long distance with tools like skype or google hangouts. If you’d like to meet up just send an email to lauren@curtcpa.com and briefly describe your situation.

You may very well find that your questions can be answered just over email. That’s not so common, but it is common for people to find that the questions they have can be answered in that one first meeting, especially if they have already gone through the investment materials on this site or the website for my investing class.

You have a website purely for investing?

Yes. It’s not exciting at all, just like the investing strategies I recommend are not exciting. Your life should be exciting. Your investing should be boring. Anyway, here is the site:

Where are your offices located?

Erickson Wealth and Tax Management
200 First Avenue West, Suite 401
Seattle, WA 98119

Do you offer hourly financial planning services as well as investment management services?

Yes, absolutely. Only a small handful of people need investment management, although those who need it really need it. But most people can benefit from unbiased professional financial counseling and advice.

What is your ideal client?

The ideal client is someone whose goal is financial freedom, and who is willing to take concrete steps to achieve that goal.
